The Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) group develops and uses models of tasks, task-related knowledge, and human task performance in conjunction with automation to develop highly usable interactive computing systems.

The group includes researchers in Artificial Intelligence and other branches of computer science, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, and a variety of other disciplines.

Human Collaborative Systems

Our group is part of BBN's Information and Knowledge Technologies Business Unit, which offers custom research and development for systems that use AI and ML to enable collaboration among people and machines.

We call our approach Human Collaborative Systems, and pride ourselves on our engineering that accomodates the human dimension.
