The Human-Centered Systems Group (HCS) develops and uses models of tasks, task-related knowledge, and human task performance in conjunction with automation to develop highly usable interactive computing systems.

The group includes researchers in Artificial Intelligence and other branches of computer science, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, and a variety of other disciplines.
